greet Hotel Chatellerault

This was our first time staying in a Greet Hotel and I can honestly say it was outstanding! We are travelling to Spain so this was a one night stopover. The hotel is very similar to American motels whereby you can park right outside the front of your room, which is super convenient. The hotel has only been open for a year and it is still in brand new condition. The staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful and spoke English. Starting with the parking - the car park gates are closed at night making it very secure. The room was a decent size and spotless! Gorgeous white clean bedding, great pillows & firm bed. The rooms are thoughtfully furnished with unobtrusive fittings - small bedside shelves, tiny LED bed lamps with glasses stand attached. Desk & chair. More sockets than you need for charging. Coat hooks (hoorah!) shelves & small area to hang your clothes. There is also a window that can be opened & air conditioning if required. The bathroom is fab - huge shower area, hair dryer in front of the mirror :-) large shelf above the basin, again in front of the mirror for all the make-up/shaving gear. Thick towels, flannels & shower gel. We decided to book another Greet Hotel in Limoges, this is where I am writing this review. Although older than Chatellerault Hotel it is still extremely comfortable with all the similar facilities above. Well done Greet Hotels, your business model is the future!

The reception staff was lovely & helpful. The room was great for us and our 2 dogs. Great location on our travels, close to the motorway with places to eat close by.

Check in was great - good breakfast -parking appreciated - very comfortable bed. Pet friendly.

The location perfect for travelling to/from spain. Greeted warmly, recently renovated, clean & fresh.

Hotel was a little aged but very clean, close to food outlets and next to a fantastic bar which closed at 10.00 pm. Showers were good and the breakfast plentiful.
